Turbolinux FUJI で XDMCP を使用したリモートログインを行う

【解説】

Turbolinux FUJI で、XDMCP (X Display Manager Control Protocol) を利用する事により、
リモートホストのデスクトップ環境にネットワーク経由で接続し、リモートログインする事が
可能となります。また、Turbolinux FUJIではデフォルトで kdm を使用している為、
kdm を利用した設定方法を以下にご紹介します。

【設定】

以後、下記の表記にて解説を行います。

・ リモートホストのログイン画面を表示する側(以下、Xサーバとします)


・ ログイン画面をXサーバへ送る側(以下、Xクライアントとします)


まず、Turbolinux FUJIを最新の状態へアップデートして下さい。

次に、Xクライアントの設定を行います。

(1) Xクライアントへ root権限でログインしましす。

コンソール画面を開いて頂き/etc/X11/kdm/ 内のXaccessファイルを一部修正し、
保存して下さい。

# vi /etc/X11/kdm/Xaccess


[/etc/X11/kdm/Xaccess] 修正前

上記の設定で、同じネットワーク内の全ホストからのリモートログインを
許可します。リモートログインを許可するホストを個別に指定したい場合は、
下記のように該当ホストのIPアドレスを直接指定して下さい。


例) IPアドレス"192.168.0.1"のホストを許可する場合

次に、Xサーバ側からリモートログインを実行します。

(1) ランレベル5にてシステムを起動させ、ログイン画面を表示させます。

(2) ログイン画面が表示されたら、画面下部にある[メニュー]よりリモートログインを選択します。

(3) XDMCP のホストメニューが表示されますので、その中からXクライアントを選択し[許可]ボタンを
押下して下さい。Xクライアント名はFQDNで表示されます。


以上で操作は終了です。
Xサーバの画面上にXクライアントのログイン画面が表示されますので、
Xクライアントのユーザー名でログインして下さい。
