2.6. Mouse Configuration
On the Mouse Configuration screens (Figure 2.7), specify the mouse attached to your machine and verify that it is functioning correctly. Turbolinux usually detects your mouse automatically.
You may adjust the following settings as required.
- Emulate 3 Buttons
Check the box labeled Emulate 3 Buttons if you have a 2-Button mouse and wish the combination of buttons to perform the same tasks as the middle button on a 3-Button mouse.
We recommend enabling three button emulation if you will be using the X Window System since X Windows does make good use of the middle mouse button.
- Swap scroll buttons
You can enable a scroll button option. This is often useful for left-handed users.
Verify that the mouse's buttons respond correctly in the box labeled Test Mouse Here. Position the arrow in the box and click each of the mouse's buttons. The corresponding squares in the box should turn from white to black.
