Automated Network Monitoring
- The server acting as the cluster manager, the Advanced Traffic Manager, continuously and unobtrusively samples all server nodes to verify that the applications and the servers running them are healthy.
- The primary Advanced Traffic Manager is regularly queried to verify that it too is functional.
- If a failure is detected at the Primary Advanced Traffic Manager, an election will occur and a backup Advanced Traffic Manager will take over as the primary cluster manager.
