Please select "vesa" or "text" installation mode if you experience a failure while trying to use a new supported video card. The lastest XFree86 packages will be installed after installing the update kit CD-ROM. After rebooting the system, please use the "turbopkg" tool to configure your video card.

1.4 Turbolinux 8 for AMD64 boot image files

• Ability to install an unsupported chipset.
• Fixes display corruption problem when using an NVIDIA GeForce Ti or later (including GeForce FX).
• Fixes installation problems while using certain Rioworks HDAMB motherboards.

There are some cases that you may experience IRQ problems with the motherboard. In these cases, you may need to update your BIOS. Please consult the board manufacturer for update information. You may also want to try appending the kernel option "noapic" at the installer boot prompt, which may solve some installation issues.
