A tool to provide functions equal to the Windows Notepad, a well-known desktop utility. You can easily operate it just like pasting a notepad on the desktop, which is useful when you simply want to take a note. You can start Memopad by clicking "Menu" -> "Program" -> "Utilities" -> "desktop notes".

A Calculater is provided to be used on the Turbolinux FUJI desktop. You can customize it by changing the display color or fonts to use. You can also cut and paste numerics appeared on the display. You can start Kcalc by clicking "Menu" -> "Program" -> "Accessories" -> "calc".

To format a floppy disc, click "Menu" -> "Program" -> "Utilities" -> "Other" -> "KFloppy". To format a floppy to allow it to be read in the Windows environment, select "DOS" from "File system:".

KSnapshot is a utility to save a desktop or an application window on the screen as an image file. You can start KSnapshot by clicking "Menu" -> "Program" -> "Graphic" -> "KSnapshot".

To input a command on the desktop, you must start a program called a terminal emulator. There are various kinds of terminal emulators. To start Konsole, a terminal emulator that is supplied with KDE, select "Menu" -> "Program" -> "System" -> "Konsole".
