Digikam is a simple and easy to use tool for connecting to a digital camera. You can transfer data from the digital camera that supports USB mass storage or Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP). With Digikam, you can manage not only images stored in your PC but also enjoy looking pictures taken by digital cameras or transfer them to your PC from the digital camera to manage them using an album. Digikam also has a simple photo retouch function, allowing to rotate images and adjust brightness. In addition, you can send captured images by attaching them to the mail or view a slide show.

Turbolinux FUJI contains a image processing application called GNU Image Manipulation Program (GIMP) that allows to process or edit image files that have been taken by a digital camera or captured using a scanner or CD-ROMs. GIMP has a powerful editing tool or drawing tool and is equipped with a layer function or channel function that are essentially required for advanced image editing. It also provides many filters for simple and effective processing, making itself a high-performance and full-fledged image creation foftware.

Kuickshow is a simple and light image viewer that supports general image files such as JPG, GIF, IFF, PNG, and BMP. It also allows to view images using a slide show with various effects. In addition, it has a simple editing function such as rotating images or changing the brightness or contrast.

Kolorpaint is a simple and user-friendly paint software. Although it cannot provide advanced image processing capability like GIMP, functions provided by Kolorpaint are enouph for simple editing or changing formats.
