C.4. Starting the Installer

Insert the first boot disk created from boot1.img into the floppy disk drive and power on the computer. In a while, the following boot screen will come up.

Caution

To boot the computer from the floppy disk drive, you may need to modify the BIOS configuration to change the order in which boot devices are searched. To enter the BIOS setup screen, press the key indicated on screen when the computer is powered on. Many BIOSs use [Del] and [F1] keys. Press the indicated key and change the order in which boot devices are searched so that the computer will boot from the floppy disk drive.

A boot prompt will come up, waiting for you to start the launch of the installer. Normally, simply press the [Enter] key. If you do nothing for a while, the installation will automatically progress to the next step.
