C.3. Preparing an Install Directory
You need to make preparations before conducting installation from a local hard disk or network installation using NFS or FTP. Turbolinux FUJI is provided in two "Install CD-ROMs", i.e., "Install CDs 1 and 2", both of which you need to copy into one directory of the hard disk.
Copy the Install CDs as follows:
Copy the turbo directory of "Install CD1".
Copy the RPM files in the turbo/RPMS/ directory of "Install CD 2" into the previous turbo/RPMS/ directory.
 | Before conducting network installation, you need to disclose the copied directory on the NFS or FTP server. Therefore, you need to be familiar with NFS or FTP server construction. The operating system that runs the server need not be Turbolinux. |
