Specify the password of the system administrator root and create general user accounts.
Specify the password of the system administrator root. You need to enter the password twice to avoid typing errors. First, fill the upper text area with the password. The entered characters will appear as asterisks (*) to prevent people from seeing your password. Next, fill the lower text area with the same password. If the two entries match, "Confirmed" is displayed on the right.
Register general user account. Enter a user name and enter a password twice in a similar way to the above.
Select this option to specify that when Turbolinux FUJI boots, this general user will log in to the system automatically.When this check box is checked, you can omit the procedure for logging in. If you uncheck this option, the system skips the automatic login procedure and displays the login screen.
![]() | Remember the password. You need this password when logging in to the system. Passwords should be a character string that is a mix of alphanumeric characters and symbols. For passwords, you can use the following symbols: #*,.;:_-+!$%&\|?{[()]}. Note also that Linux is case-sensitive. |

On the [Authentication] tab, you can select a password encryption method and authentication method. Usually, you do not need to change these methods.

Select this option if users are authenticated using an NIS (Network Information Service) server in your network environment. If broadcast is used to find the NIS server, select "Use broadcast to find an NIS server.
Select this option if users are authenticated using an LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) server in your network environment.
