1.3. Check the method to start Turbolinux FUJI from the CD-ROM

Installation of Turbolinux FUJI can easily be started by booting the system from the "Install CD1". Check whether your computer supports CD-ROM boot (booting the system from the CD-ROM drive by turning on the power while the CD-ROM is inserted into the CD-ROM drive) by referring to the supplied manuals. You may have to display the BIOS setting screen when the computer starts up and change the order of boot device priority so that the computer starts from the CD-ROM. Almost all the models of desktop computers can be started from the CD-ROM. However, some notebook computers with external CD-ROM drive may not be bootable from the CD-ROM.
